Come along with us and take a walk on the wild side of Roatan. This is a fun-filled private Roatan tour for the whole family. See and interact with all the wildlife Roatan has to offer.
We begin this tour by picking you up at your cruise ship port, where you board an air-conditioned vehicle along with your English speaking driver/guide, who provides you with our island information and history. As you drive through Coxen Hole, capital of Roatan Island, you will see local market vendors, schools, our people who await your visit with a friendly smile.
And this is where the fun begins...
Come along and visit Roatan's Green Iguanas Sanctuary, where they roam around in the wild, winding their tails in a place that has over 2,000 of them. You can feed them, and watch them as they move around on the ground and in the trees. The Iguana Sanctuary also has parrots, macaws, turkeys and other birds. As you explore this location, you will visit the natural aquarium containing tarpon fish, lobsters, conch, sea turtles and other marine life. Take as many pictures as you like.
Once finished at the Iguana Farm, let's double the fun!!!

Play, hug, touch, and hold white face Capuchin monkeys (they'll jump on your shoulders), Spider monkeys, island parrots, macaws, toucans, kinkajoos, agoutis (island "rabbits"), coatis and occasionally hummingbirds. Make sure your camera's battery is charged!

Baby Capuchin MonkeysTake your time as you explore the wild side of Roatan at your own pace. Rest assured, your driver with a/c vehicle waits for you.
Once finished at the park, we then head to West End Village. Feel free to explore and wander around on the white sand beach, maybe do some shopping at this unique Caribbean oceanfront village, or simply relax at one of the many waterfront bars/restaurants and perhaps purchase some local cuisine or refreshments. If you would like to swim or snorkel, we suggest that you bring or wear a swimming suit, towel, insect repellent, and sunscreen. If you have snorkel gear, bring it along. Snorkel gear is available for rent at your extra expense.
On the trip back to your cruise ship pier, we drive to a high point where you can view both sides of the island, seeing Roatan Island's lush green vegetation at its best, then drive through local villages along Roatan's coastal shoreline.
We head back to your cruise ship terminal no later than 1 1/2 hours prior to your ship's departure time, sooner if you wish to.
Tour Duration
The duration of this tour is 4 to 5 hours, although you're the boss! You can make your tour last as long as you like,
One thing is for sure, your driver will have you back to your cruise ship port no later 1 1/2 hours before your ship is to depart.

2 people - $50 each person
3 people and up - $38 each person
(a minimum of 2 people are required to book this tour)
Method of Payment for your Tour
Theris Roatan Tours/Dixon Tours require a $30 deposit to make a reservation, done via PayPal to 
. If you agree to make your deposit, just send me an email in acceptance, after which I will send you a PayPal invoice so you can make your deposit. Please follow the PayPal instructions in the email in order to make your deposit.
Once you have made your deposit, PayPal will notify me, and I will email you instructions on how to meet your private driver with air conditioned vehicle for your tour with us, Theris Roatan Tours/Dixon Tours.
Please print the meeting instructions and a copy of your PayPal deposit receipt and bring them along with you when you meet the Theris Roatan Tours/Dixon Tours representatives at your cruise ship port.
The remaining balance of your tour is payable only in US$ cash to your driver at the end of your tour when you are back at your cruise ship port no later 1 hour before your ship's departure time (sooner if you wish).
Refund and Cancellation Policy
If your cruise ship is rescheduled to Roatan a day sooner or later, please note that your tour is not cancelled - it is automatically transferred to your new arrival date. Although we are usually aware of these changes, notification on your part of any schedule changes your ship may make regarding Roatan is always appreciated and ensures your day on Roatan will not be lost.
Your deposit is refunded in full to you if your ship does not sail, does not dock at the Roatan Island Cruise Ship Port due to inclement weather or ocean conditions, or if you have to cancel your tour/reservation for any reason. Notification of cancellation must be made via email, or phone call before your ship arrives at the Roatan Island Cruise Ship Port.

Meeting Time and Instructions
We suggest to our guests that you meet us, DIXON TOURS, 1 hour after your ship has docked. That way we make an early start on your tour, and ensure you a longer stay with us while touring Roatan Island. Don't rush yourselves as we will be waiting for you, and we know it takes time for you to get off the ship.
If you would like to meet us at a specific time, please feel free to let us know.
Once your tour is booked and your deposit made, meeting instructions will be sent to you via email. Please print and hand carry a copy of your meeting instructions.
